Block paving
Herringbone, stretcher bond or contemporary linear lay patterns. Choice of premium block ranges with granite or charcoal borders to lift the whole drive.
Block paving, resin-bound, tarmac and gravel driveways — installed across Kent by a small, experienced team. Full excavation, a proper sub-base, neat detailing, and a finish that still looks the part years down the line.
Whatever you choose on top, the work underneath is the same: full excavation, geotextile membrane, 150mm compacted Type 1, edge restraints set in concrete, and drainage that meets SuDS regulations. The pretty bit is the last 5%.

Permeable
UV-stable, permeable, seamless finish. Hand-trowelled over a porous base. Wide colour range — from natural cotswold gravels to deep basalt blacks.
Best value
Hot-laid surface over a proper base course. Hand-edged with block borders or kerbs. Ideal for longer drives, car parks, and commercial entrances.
Budget-friendly
Cotswold buff, granite chippings or graded shingle laid over a properly compacted sub-base with steel or timber edging. A clean, classic budget option.
We don't rush the bit you can't see — the sub-base is what stops a driveway dipping, cracking or pooling water two winters from now. Job timings depend on the size and complexity of your drive; we'll give you a realistic timeline with your quote.
Full excavation to depth. Old surface, roots, soft spots — all out. Spoil cleared as we go.
Stage 1Geotextile membrane, then compacted MOT Type 1 in layers. Whacker-plated to a firm, level base.
Stage 2Linear drains where needed, soakaway if required, edge restraints bedded in concrete.
Stage 3Your chosen surface — paved, poured, hot-laid or gravelled — installed by the same crew start to finish.
Stage 4Kiln-dried sand, sealer if applicable, full site clean. We don't leave until you're happy.
Stage 5Most driveway problems — sinking, cracking, weeds, puddles — come from what was (or wasn't) put down before the surface. Here's what proper driveway construction looks like — we'll walk you through these details on your quote.
We dig down properly. No laying over old patio, no shortcut depths. Spoil removed and the site left clean each evening.
Heavy-duty membrane across the entire dig. Stops sub-base mixing with the subsoil — the #1 reason cheap drives sink.
Laid and whacker-plated in layers. Hard, level, true. This is what your driveway actually sits on.
Block edges bedded and haunched in a proper concrete mix — not buttered in mortar. Stops the perimeter spreading over time.
Either fully permeable (resin/permeable block/gravel) or with linear drainage to a soakaway. Either way — no planning issues, no standing water.
Top-quality craftsmanship is the whole reason we get repeat business and word-of-mouth referrals. If anything's not right with our work, we'll come back and put it right.

The number on your quote is the number on your invoice. We don't do "while we're digging we found…" — we figure that out on the initial visit, not on day three.
Old driveway, concrete, hardcore, soil — cleared and disposed of properly as part of the job.
Built properly, every job. The boring expensive bit other quotes leave thin.
Permeable surface or linear drains to a soakaway — designed so planning is straightforward.
We come round, measure up, talk through surface options and send a fixed-price written quote — no obligation either way.

Based in Sittingbourne, working across the county. We're a local Kent team — every job is run by us, not handed off to sub-contractors.
If something here doesn't cover it, just give us a call — we'd rather have a five-minute chat than have you guess.
Every drive is different — size, access, surface choice, drainage requirements and ground conditions all affect the price. We give a fixed written quote after a quick visit, not a per-square-metre guess over the phone. The quote you get is the price you pay.
It depends on the size of the drive and the surface you choose. Most domestic driveways are completed in a few working days; larger jobs or full landscaping projects take longer. We'll give you a realistic start and finish date with your quote.
If the new drive is over 5m² and uses a non-permeable surface (standard block, tarmac) without dedicated drainage, yes. If it's permeable (resin-bound, permeable block, gravel) or drains to a soakaway, no. We design every drive with drainage that meets local regs so planning is straightforward.
Block paving for the most flexible look and easy repair. Resin-bound for a smooth, modern, weed-free, permeable finish. Tarmac for longer driveways or where budget matters most. Gravel for a clean, classic, budget-friendly option that drains naturally. We'll walk you through the trade-offs on your specific drive.
Top-quality craftsmanship is what we trade on. If there's ever a concern with our workmanship, talk to us — we'll come back and put it right. Specific terms are discussed and agreed before the job starts.
Only for the initial quote visit, and ideally for the start of the build (we like to walk the site with you on day one). After that we can crack on while you're at work.
Tell us your postcode and a rough idea of what you'd like. We'll come round, take measurements, talk you through your surface options and send a fixed-price written quote — no obligation, no pushy follow-ups.
